7 Reasons why vision Boards are beneficial

Hello beautiful people! I wanted to share with you my blessings and things that I discovered upon creating my vision board for 2017. I believe in always sharing what I learn because I want you all to manifest in the glory that is meant for you, me and everyone in the world. When you write things down it ceases to exist. It is also very important to keep yourself in constant motion because if you are not moving, then something is broken. I understand that the agony of life is to sit in a place of movement. You see everyone moving forward in life while you feel stuck in your own contentment.  I would like to help you stop comparing and start manifesting your goals into reality.

1. It's a MAP for what you hope to accomplish

A vision board is a set of goals with pictures on a board. A vision board is a Map that literally comes to life. It's a map created as if you already have what you want. It shows you your desires and wants before you even have it.

2. It helps maintain focus on your goals

Have you heard of the saying "If you do something for 30 days straight, it gets accustomed to your daily routine?" Well that's how a vision board works. If you see your board every single day, it helps keep you on track to attaining your goals. You also subconsciously start putting little pieces together of your goals without knowing it.

3. It turns your expectations into reality

Everything you always wanted to happen, actually turns into a reality for you. It is all about persistence. You have to tell your self that this is what you want every single day. Not only do you have to speak it but you have to believe it and act on it. Make some moves into making what you want happen and your dreams will come to life.

4. It teaches you patience

I learned a lot of patience from having a vision board. There were some things on my board that I was able to get in the midst of but I never actually attained it. For instance, there were certain big companies that I wanted to work in this year but didn't land the position. I landed the interview but not the position. And from that, I learned that it was simply not my time. It gave me a taste of what I wanted but showed me that with much more preparation, anything is attainable.

"Nature does not hurry yet everything is accomplished"

"When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be"

5. It's a constant visualization of where you need to be

Seeing is believing, and once you believe then anything is possible. Your board reinforces your purpose in life and where your potential lies. Your dreams are manifested into the atmosphere, all you have to do is let go and let everything take its course.

6. Removes fear

This has been the best lesson I have learned so far. Fear plays into preventing us from grasping our goals and turning them into something true and real. It is very important that we all confront fear with full force.  We all have to remember that it is the thought of the thing that scares us but once we actually do it, then the fear is gone. I've come to the realization that we don't fear what we want, we fear the thought of it. I learned best from Will Smith when he said " The point of maximum danger is the point of minimum fear. Why are you scared of something you haven't even done yet? On the other side of your maximum fear are all of your best things in life." Therefore, do not be stopped by fear! Put what you were afraid of on your board and watch it come to life.

7. It enhances your creativity

Creating a vision board is the ultimate creative boost. Having to visualize where you want to be in life can serve as a huge creative exercise. Try to visualize every aspect of your goals like where you want to travel, down to that shiny car you want to drive. Don't be afraid to think big and put things down that you would have never thought of doing and watch your creativity unlock.
