Plan a trip to Dubai

• Book your ticket in advance (we booked ours 5 months in advance)

• DO NOT FLY TURKISH! I REPEAT - DO NOT FLY TURKISH AIRLINES

• Dubai does not tax but their items are far more expensive. So save up

• I would not recommend shopping at the mall, you can find cheaper in America

• Download Uber before you go. (you will spend a lot of money on uber and taxis so budget wisely)

• The Gold Souk is very overwhelming. Make sure you negotiate all the prices because you could receive it for a low price.

• You can not show skin at the Mosque in Abu Dhabi but they give you clothes for FREE

• You can slightly wear whatever you want in Dubai, just don't be inappropriate

• You can either book your excursions on Groupon or at your hotel

• Dubai is like America but luxurious. They have a lot of American food available so don't think you are going to eat anything special.

• IT IS VERY HOTTTTTTTTTTTT!

• They use dollars or dirham (Dubai money) so either or, you will be fine. I would recommend changing half of your money to dirham to use for activities.
